When I was in college I could quickly hack out a 10 page essay with the best of them (It might have had something to do with getting a lot of practice while getting a degree in English Lit.). Now that I’m attempting to write fiction (of the fanfic sort primarily) I’m finding myself lucky to write more than 1500 words in a week. Even when I have a lot of ideas, the words still don’t come out very quickly. One day I might write 600 words and then not be able to write anything for the rest of the week. It’s not writers block but is more like writers cramp.
