Standing On Boxes

I’ve started going over “The Two” (One of my older fics) in preparation to completing it (hopefully before the end of the year – though I’m starting to think a ‘sequel’ will be needed… to clean up loose ends I won’t cover in this story anyway.)… and I’ve found a few mistakes and unclear areas that I’m fixing. And I can’t resist the urge to tweak it in other places.

But not too much – my writing style is a bit different than it was even a year ago when I last worked on this fic and I don’t want to rewrite it completely – I don’t think most people should notice the changes. But it’ll take a couple days to work thru all twelve existing parts…

Hopefully I won’t ruin it in the process.

Right now… I’m trying to get my head into the appropriate ‘angst-mode’ to write the next part properly. The story isn’t really a happy one… at least the parts where Buffy thinks about her life before she showed up in that alternate universe/dimension.

The curious can find the un-revised version on Ikoly. I won’t update that until I start adding new chapters there.
