Very loudly (there are only 3 floors to the building and they were VERY loud.) Until approx. 3:00PM, at which time they left so they could get to their favorite sports bar or home and watch the local university football team lose. Badly. Football is huge around here.

Hopefully, none of them will be on one of those PPV or speciality sports channels on cable that I don’t have (There might actually be a soccer channel.)

Note: The next Women’s World Cup is in 2011 in Germany.

And Saturday is the big UT vs. Florida game. They expect to play in the rain…. I’m not a huge football fan… but people around here are certainly very enthusiastic. It almost explains the UT football stadium that seats 100K+ spectators.

Lord’s Crickets Laws

Is there a reason why I don’t quite get cricket? I’m assuming it’s one of those ‘you have to see it to get it’ things. Or is because I’m not English?

From looking at the rules there are some things that just don’t make sense if you’ve never seen it being played.
